Journey

I am allowing you to dream, to fill in the gaps, to add or to take away. Like a leaf coloured by autumn, pushed by a playful wind, I am slowly descending, chased by a flock of birds in rehearsal for the morning chorus. I come to rest in the crystal-clear waters of a river in the heart of a mountain. Tickled by a swift eddy I danced with the figures carved in the stone whilst carried by the rhythmical motion of the water’s undulations. I am free to follow my course, to play with the hands and legs on the twigs. Above me, against a blue sky the branches designed and coloured by Mother Nature are encouraged by a gentle breeze to perform arabesques. Adorned with vapid foam, I continue my journey to the sea. The sea, the sea! The wide, wide sea. An ocean of lost dreams.
